Handmade Espadrilles by Legado

The accessories label Legado has dedicated itself to promote ancient Mexican craftsmanship which is passed down from generation to generation.

This textile craft, and thus part of the identity of indigenous communities in Mexico, produces beautiful results: handmade espadrilles and belts.

Our Wearness Weekly are hand woven espadrilles called “El Alacran te va a picar” (“The Scorpion will sting you”).  The stripes are hand woven by an indigenous community in Oaxaca, southern Mexico and then are hand sewn to an espadrille in a family workshop in Spain.
