The FH3200 chair was originally designed by Frederik Sieck in 1960 and produced by the Danish furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen A/S. In old Fritz-Hansen-catalogues, it says “Design by Fritz Hansen”, without mentioning Frederik Sieck at all by the way.

Produced to a very high standard of quality, it was a classic “contract chair” despite its unconventional form and was used in many Scandinavian banks, restaurants and hotels.

This pair, produced in February 1969, has been given new leather upholstery. The white lacquered backrests are also unusual, as the chairs were usually ordered black on black.
